Young Members Piano Lesson with Amy Ellis Nutt

Please join us in the Truman Lounge on Thursday, Jan. 15 at 6:30 p.m. where we will be hearing from the Washington Post’s Amy Ellis Nutt, who won the Pulitzer Prize in 2011 for feature writing. Amy joined the Post in summer 2014 as a science writer after working for years as a staff writer at The Star-Ledger. She has been a Harvard University Nieman Fellow and taught journalism at Columbia and Princeton.

When I heard that Amy had recently joined the National Press Club, I wrote to her to ask if she would be interested in speaking with the young members, to which she enthusiastically responded: “I like nothing more than talking to other journalists about the craft of reporting and writing, especially young journalists.”
