Chef Susan Delbert will be on WUSA, Channel 9 at 11:30am, talking about the August 1 lunch to possibly the most prestigious group of chefs in the world, a French organization, the Club des Chefs des Chefs, whose members are the chefs to heads of state all over the world.

She will be making the salad and will have an example of the meal served. The menu will be available in the Fourth Estate restaurant to sample, after DC Restaurant Week, which is next week, and to which we are also participating. Basically, when everyone returns from vacation after labor day, for the whole month of September, we will be serving the Club des Chefs des Chefs menu for everyone to experience.

Summer salad of Arugula, Watermelon, Red Raspberries and Pistachio crusted Goat Cheese; and Virginia Bison with Blackberry Demi-glace, Scallion Potatoes and Tarragon Green beans, all locally sourced; and Silver Spring, Md. produced artisanal Wild Blueberry Ice Cream with Local Blueberry-Grand Marnier Sauce.
