To mark the 70th anniversary of the Soviet-American alliance in World War II,
a panel of high-level Russian businessmen and former government officials
will discuss, A RUSSIAN-AMERICAN ALLIANCE: LESSONS FOR THE FUTURE
The speakers are:
DAVID YAKOBASHVILI, Chairman, Russian-American Business Council
EVGENY SAVOSTIYANOV, Vice Chairman, Center for Russia-USA Rapprochement
SERGEY ROGOV, Head, Institute of USA and Canada, Academy of Sciences
They will be in Washington to meet with American counterparts to discuss cooperation in political, business, economic, defense and other areas. They will recap these talks and discuss what they see as new challenges and threats facing both the U.S. and Russia.
