Potential in Iraq
A unique panel discussion will be held on 12:00 - 01:00 p.m. on Wednesday July 13 in the Zenger Room, of National Press Club, 13th Floor, 529, 14th Street, N.W., Washington, D.C.
Representatives from Eng. Abdullah A. Jiburi General Contracting Company and 360 Architecture, partners in the Basrah Sports Complex, will share lessons learned and future investment opportunities in two new commercial ventures in Iraq.
In addition, Ambassador Patricia Haslach Iraq Transition Coordinator, U.S. Department of State; Lionel Johnson Vice President, Middle East and North Africa Affairs, U.S. Chamber of Commerce; Susan Hamrock-Mann Director, Iraq Reconstruction Task Force, U.S. Department of Commerce and Naufel Alhassan Commercial Counselor, Embassy of the Republic of Iraq will also answer questions on the topic why American companies are lagging behind others in getting contracts in Iraq.
