Asian Economic Turmoil

Mr. Pozen spoke about the impact of the Asian economic crisis on the Pacific Rim and U.S. economies. He said that although the long-term impact on the U.S. economy should be slight the crisis could fundamentally change how business in conducted in the Pacific Rim. He also outlined problems in Japan and China which will continue to create economic problems in the region. After his remarks, he took questions from the audience.
