WAMU/NPR 1A Host Joshua Johnson at The National Press Club

The Washington, D.C. Chapter of NLGJA will be welcoming WAMU/NPR 1A Host Joshua Johnson to Washington at the National Press Club on February 9. This special event will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the Club's Cosgrove Member's Lounge and is restricted to NLGJA members and members of the National Press Club's Broadcast/Podcast Committee and their guests.

"WAMU is thrilled to announce a new show for a changing America," said the network in a press release in November. "1A is a live two-hour daily national radio program hosted by Joshua Johnson, who brings to the airwaves a smart fresh voice with curiosity and empathy, convening a daily conversation about the most important issues of our time."

Johnson succeeds NLGJA Randy Shilts Award Recipient Diane Rehm, who retired from hosting her own show in December. Please consider joining NLGJA in welcoming Johnson to Washington.
