Modern Ireland
President Robinson talked about the past and future accomplishments and of and challenges facing Ireland. She emphasized the Irish commitment to peace in Northern Ireland and to peaceful relations with Great Britain, the U.S. and others around the world. She also talked about the current economic and cultural situation in Ireland. After her remarks, she took questions from the audience.
