The Militia Movement

Mr. Dees talked about the militia movement one year after the Oklahoma City bombing. He is on a national tour to publicize his new book which criticizes white supremacist groups. His organization has tracked approximately 800 groups in the U.S. ranging from militant tax protestors to domestic terrorists. He stated that the common belief in the militia movement is that there is a conspiracy to disarm U.S. citizens and turn the nation over to an evil international government. Following his prepared remarks, Mr. Dees took questions from the audience.
