Greece Future
Prime Minister Simitis spoke about challenges facing Greece especially in the international arena. He emphasized that Greece would increase its role in international affairs both through institutions such as the European Union and unilaterally to help nations trying to create democratic societies. After his prepared remarks, he took questions from the audience, including several on Greece-Turkey conflicts over Cyprus.
