He also outlined his opinions on the idea of television ratings. He also talked about the role of television in politics. He announced that FOX will allow each party's nominee a half-hour presentation in prime time on 4 November. He added that FOX would ask each candidate to prepare one-minute position statements on the 10 most important campaign issues as determined by survey research. These spots would air during the last month prior to the election. After his prepared remarks, he took questions from the audience.
