How to Communicate with Foreigners presentation

Club member Larry Wojno will make a presentation on "How to Communicate with Foreigners" at 6:30 p.m. Monday, September 13, in the McClendon Room as part of the meeting of the International Correspondents Committee. The event is open to NPC members.

Wojno is a 30-year veteran of advertising agencies in Ohio and New York. He holds a master's degree in public and international affairs.

Wojno says his talk will challenge the audience to understand both the impediments and shortcuts of communicating across cultures by focusing on the idiosyncrasies of North American and foreign cultures. Examples of how to better read the signals sent by communicators are presented in a lighthearted way.
