Spirituality in Modern Society

Mr. Lear, the developer and producer of network TV shows including "All in the Family" and "Sanford and Son", spoke about spirituality and the quest for understanding a deeper meaning in our lives. He suggests that the "gropers" are the untold media story in today's society. To introduce this idea, he assumed the first person of "Bill", a factory worker who is noticing all of his friends and family pursuing this deeper meaning through Zen, The Tao, yoga, Joseph Campbell tapes, Mary Kay cosmetics, and other how to tapes. Following prepared remarks, he answered questions from the audience.
