Herman Joseph Obermayer, longtime member, supporter of the library, and publisher of the No. Va. Sun
Herman Joseph Obermayer, a longtime member of the National Press Club and publisher of the Northern Virginia Sun before selling it to the Gazette newspapers, died at his home in Arlington. He was 91.
Obermayer was a contributor to the Eric Friedheim library expansion, among his other charitable good works.
