Were you a Scout? Head Table opportunity available with nation’s top Girl Scout

Calling all Scouts!

Members of the National Press Club are invited to join Anna Maria Chavez, chief executive of the Girl Scouts of the USA, at the head table at a Press Club Luncheon on Wednesday, May 30.

If you were a Scout and are interested in a head table seat, please contact the luncheon organizer, Debra Silimeo, at [email protected]. Hurry! Seats are limited. Of course, Boy Scouts are more than welcome too, so come celebrate the program that has spent the last century helping girls build courage, confidence and character.

Whether or not you were a Scout, you can help spread the word and help us build a great audience. Lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m., with remarks beginning at 1 p.m., followed by a question-and-answer session ending at 2 p.m. Tickets cost $19 for Club members, $30 for guests of members, and $37 for general admission. To reserve tickets, please e-mail [email protected] or call 202-662-7501. Tickets must be paid for at time of reservation.

The lunch is being scheduled as part of the 100th-anniversary celebration of the Girl Scouts.

To submit a question in advance, put GIRL SCOUTS in the subject line and email to [email protected] before 10 a.m. on the day of the luncheon.
