This week in National Press Club history

March 18, 1992: Independent presidential candidate H. Ross Perot discusses his campaign at a Club luncheon. On April 25, 1995, running again, he returns to the Club for a fourth time. On his first appearance in 1969, he discussed his independent efforts to free U.S. prisoners in Vietnam.

This Week In National Press Club History is brought to you by the History & Heritage Committee, which is dedicated to preserving and revitalizing the Club’s history through displays, events, panel discussions and its oral history project, which now numbers close to two hundred interviews of club members and personnel.
