Africa's first elected female president Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf visited the National Press Club on February 16, 2007 to discuss her achievements and challenges during her first year in office. Africa's first elected female head of state also talked about how she would fulfill the promises she made to the Liberian people in years to come.
