Miss America 2001 Angela Perez Baraquio came to the Press Club on April 27, 2001 to speak about America's need to develop an education system that builds character in youth. She touched on issues such as the lack of civility in American school systems, recent violent incidents in schools and programs that have been designed to promote good character in schools today.
