Foley will share her journey from the time of her son’s captivity to the years after his death. Nearly seven years after her son’s death, Foley spent three days in a Virginia courthouse in the presence of her son’s killer. Her passion to keep her son’s memory alive let to the creation of the James Foley Legacy Foundation—a nonprofit that “advocates for the freedom of all Americans held hostage abroad.”
Tickets cost $5 for members of the National Press Club and $10 for the general public. Purchase tickets online. Pre-ordered books will be available for pickup and signing at the event. Attendees will also be able to purchase books at the door.
