Tonight: Celebrate Cinco de Mayo at Reliable Source, three days early

National Press Club members and their guests can enjoy chili relleno-poblano peppers stuffed with Monterey jack cheese topped with Salsa Roja and cotija cheese and other Mexican items on a special menu that will be offered at the Reliable Source three days before Cinco de Mayo -- on Friday, May 2. 

Cocktails mixed for the special occasion also will be available along with the usual Taco Night festivities. It'll all begin at 5:30 p.m.

A highlight will be :

Special cocktails $12 each

Paloma cocktail: The Paloma is one of the more traditional mixed drinks enjoyed throughout Mexico: tequila with sweet, tart grapefruit juice, lime, and sugar.

Tamarind Margarita: Tequila, Cointreau, orange juice, tamarind syrup, and lime juice

Michelada Marias: A Michelada is a Mexican drink made with beer, lime juice, Assorted sauces (often chili based), spices, and chili peppers. It is served chilled.

Pork Pozole soup-top with radish, shredded cabbage, and fresh cilantro, $7

Vegetarian wild mushroom Sope- a crispy corn masa top with chopped onion, cilantro, and crema fresca, $18

Fish Street Taco-Crispy fried Mahi on corn soft Tortilla top Shredded red and green cabbage, and spicy crema, $17
