The NPC Journalism Awards contest will accept entries through May 4. Have you entered yet? Check out the categories and go through your 2025 work, find your finest, and enter it into the competition.

New for the 2026 competition, every award category will carry a $1,000 prize. This update reflects the Club’s commitment to directly recognizing journalistic excellence across all categories.

The winners will be announced in June. They will be honored at the 53st Annual National Press Club Journalism Awards Dinner, a night of celebration and recognition for outstanding journalists. The dinner will be held Wednesday, Aug. 26, starting at 6 p.m.

This in-person event starts with a cocktail reception in the Holeman Lounge, then moves to the Ballroom for the 7 p.m. dinner and program.
