The Club's annual celebration of visual storytelling is an exhibit, not a contest. No judges evaluate the pictures, nor are prizes awarded. Clubs members can enter up to four digital images and two print photos for the show. Digital images are displayed on big screen monitors in continuous slideshows along with print photos mounted on fabric display panels starting Sept. 3. An online exhibit catalog presents images and photos entered by each participant. The exhibit ends Monday, Sept. 30.
The Club's Photo Team asks members to enter their best digital images and photos — those not shown in previous annual Club exhibits — either recent shots or from earlier, in color or black-and-white. Entries can be related to your work, or from travels and local experiences, that capture important moments, people, or events. Plus, entries can show colors or perspectives not often found in everyday photos, or display a story you captured at the right place and right time.
Submit your best images for Club's annual photo exhibit
For the 25th straight year, National Press Club members can display their best print photos and digital images in the National Press Club's main lobby during the month of September.
The Club's Photo Team began accepting entries for this year's show today, Aug. 1. Entries will be accepted through Aug. 16. Download the instructions for taking part in the exhibit, posted online.

For the exhibit's landmark 25th anniversary, the Photo Team is honoring Marshall Cohen, founder of the Club's Photo Committee who started the exhibit in 1999. Also featured are other Club members who contributed photos to every exhibit since it began.
Club members can enter their digital images and print photos on a single entry form, with entries accepted from Aug. 1 through Aug. 16. The specifications include instructions for mounting, packaging, and delivery of print photos. Please note that entries are accepted from Club members only, not work associates or family members. But feel free to bring colleagues and family to the exhibit in the main Club lobby during September to see your images and photos on display.
In the last two years, the exhibit set participation records with well over 200 digital images and photos from more than 50 NPC members each year. Here's last year's exhibit catalog. And make plans to attend the exhibit's gala opening reception on Thursday, Sept. 5. More details about the reception will be available as the date approaches.
