Schedule for today! NPCJI invites Club members to be interviewed about the importance of press freedom
The National Press Club Journalism Institute invites Club members to speak directly about why press freedom matters – and what we stand to lose without it.
Join us Tuesdays and Wednesdays at the National Press Club Library to be interviewed by our Press Freedom Fellows on the vital importance of press freedom in our communities, government and democracy.
We want to ask you: Why does press freedom matter to you, personally? And what do Americans lose when press freedom disappears?
These interviews will be edited for social media and published on Instagram and other short-form video platforms.
You can sign up for a time on Wednesday, June 24, here.
Members are also invited to attend the monthly Community Night for Press Freedom held in the Reliable Source restaurant. The next one is scheduled for Wednesday, July 8, at 6 p.m. in the Truman Lounge at the bar end of the restaurant.
