Run (or Walk) (or Donate) for Press Freedom Oct. 20

 

We are looking for runners and walkers to join the National Press Club's team for the fifth annual James W. Foley Freedom Run in Washington. The event will raise both awareness and funding for journalists' safety, including education and advocacy efforts.

The 5K Run/Walk begins at 10 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 20, in Rock Creek Park Grove 1. Runners and walkers can sign up by clicking here and going to the Club's race page and clicking "Register to Run Today" in the lower right hand corner of the page. Runners should sign up as fundraisers.

Registration is $35, and the amount goes to the Club's goal of raising $5,000 for the James W. Foley Legacy Foundation.
