Reliable Source offers Spanish tapas buffet tomorrow
The Reliable Source, the Club’s longtime hub of fellowship and good food and drink, invites members and their guests to a Spanish Tapas buffet dinner on Thursday, April 16, starting at 5:30 p.m. Live music by Carlos Cello, electric cellist, begins at 6 p.m.
The buffet will feature a wide variety of tapas, salads and desserts, including pan-seared calamari and leeks, chicken croquettes, and Catalan-style seared salmon skewers.
Specialty drinks and zero-proof options will be available throughout the evening. Here are some highlights:
Seasonal Sangria
Our house-blend sangria, refreshing and perfect for the season.
Diablo Margarita
Milagro Reposado tequila, orange liqueur, jalapeño syrup, and fresh lime juice, topped with Tajín for a bold and flavorful finish.
Non-Alcoholic Horchata
A traditional Spanish beverage with warm notes of cinnamon, creamy and refreshing.
The buffet costs $45 for members and $55 for guests, not including tax, gratuity and beverages. A full menu is listed below. Reservations are encouraged. Reserve online via the Club website (preferred), or by emailing [email protected] or calling (202) 662-7443.
Guests who spend $35 or more after 5 p.m. receive free parking at Joyce Parking (formerly One Parking), 1325 G Street NW. One validation per member; this not a guest benefit.
Members also may reserve the Cosgrove Lounge and McClendon Room free of charge with a minimum food and beverage purchase of $350 during the room use.
