Reliable Source hosts wine dinner with cookbook author Riolo June 11
The Reliable Source welcomes award-winning cookbook author and chef Amy Riolo and Dr. Simon Poole on Thursday, June 11 for a multi-course wine dinner.
The "Celebrate Olive Oil Wine Dinner" features Chef Amy’s most prized dishes prepared exquisitely by Chef Moe and his staff. Each course will be paired with the perfect wine and accompanied by cultural, historical and nutritional information from Chef Amy and Dr. Poole. The evening concludes with a question-and-answer and book signing opportunity with the authors.
Riolo, a best-selling author of more than a dozen cookbooks, is also an award-winning chef, television, host and Mediterranean lifestyle ambassador. She was named Knight of the Order of the Star of Italy by the president of the Italian Republic.
She has also been dubbed “The Ambassador of Italian Cuisine in the US” by The Italian International Agency for Foreign Press, “Ambassador of the Italian Mediterranean Diet 2022-2024” by the International Academy of the Italian Mediterranean Diet in her ancestral homeland of Calabria, Italy, and “Ambassador of Mediterranean Cuisine in the World” by the Rome-based media agency We The Italians.
Poole has more than 30 years pf experience as a doctor, teacher, and researcher. He's an award-winning author, internationally renowned Mediterranean Diet expert, and a senior international collaborator with the Global Centre for Nutrition and Health in Cambridge, U.K.
The wine dinner is $95 per person plus tax and gratuity. Reservations encouraged.
