Prime rib dinner, Pub Quiz highlight Reliable Source's September schedule

With Washington's summer doldrums departing, the Reliable Source restaurant announces a busy September. Two featured events are on its calendar 

• Thursday, Sept. 11 -- NPC Pub Quiz Night, 7 p.m., Truman Lounge 
• Thursday, Sept. 18 -- Prime Rib Dinner with music, 5:30 p.m. Music begins at 6 p.m.

The two events come on top of the Reliable Source's continuing offerings, ranging from monthly themed buffet dinners, wine dinners, and Scotch/Bourbon tasting dinners, to Friday’s popular Taco Night and signature breakfasts, including the complimentary Members’ Breakfast.

Club members are invited to explore the restaurant's new lunch offerings, dinner selections and carefully curated wine list designed to complement your meals. In addition, the venue continues to host members’ team meetings and other gatherings, ensuring there is always something happening at the Club and the Reliable Source. 

On Aug. 21, an overflow crowd of more than 100 members and guests attended the Reliable Source's annual Crab Fest  featuring a bountiful spread of crabs, salads, starches, a vegetable platte, and an extensive dessert station.

Throughout the evening, members took the time to share their compliments and appreciation for the event.

"You did a great job once again," said Cary Pollak, who celebrated his 80th birthday with a party of 30 guests. "Keep up the good work.”
