President's Covid Update: Reliable Source open for takeout
Following is a Covid Update from National Press Club President Lisa Nicole Matthews:
Fellow Club Members,
We are working toward reopening for indoor dining service at the Reliable Source when it makes the most financial sense for the Club. The Reliable Source is open for takeout and has been for most of the pandemic.
Members may eat their takeout orders in the restaurant if they wish. If you’re interested in Reliable Source seating, please make a reservation to visit the Club after you place your takeout order online. When you arrive at the Club, please let Club staff know that you’d like to have your takeout delivered to the Reliable Source.
DC law only allows 25% occupancy for establishments like ours. That includes wait staff, restaurant workers and members.
There are many steps and safety considerations we must take before we resume operations at the level of service members are accustomed to.
