Politico's Harris, Washington Post's Hamburger plan virtual conversation on national politics, local journalism on Oct. 6

Two respected and influential journalists plan to appear together in an hour-long online event at noon on Tuesday, Oct. 6, to explore the upcoming elections and the state of local journalism.

This one-hour Zoom program, sponsored by the Rochester Beacon -- both Harris and Hamburger are natives of Rochester, New York -- is free to the media and general public, but prior registration is required. Sign up here.

John Harris is co-founder of Politico, one of the nation's most successful digitally-focused journalism startups. He stepped down as editor-in-chief last year but continues to cover national politics as a Politico columnist.

Tom Hamburger is the Washington Post's investigative reporter focused on the intersection of money and politics. He is a 2018 Pulitzer Prize and George Polk Award recipient, and an MSNBC political analyst.
