NPCJI invites Club members to speak to the vital importance of press freedom

The National Press Club Journalism Institute invites Club members to speak directly to why press freedom matters – and what we stand to lose without it.

Join us Tuesdays and Wednesdays at the National Press Club Library to be interviewed by our Press Freedom Fellows on the vital importance of press freedom in our communities, government and democracy.

We want to ask you: Why does press freedom matter to you, personally? And what do Americans lose when press freedom disappears?

These interviews will be edited for social media and published on Instagram and other short-form video platforms.

You can sign up for a time next week here: Sign up

Members are also invited to attend the Community Night for Press Freedom on Tuesday, June 16, at 6 p.m. in the Truman Lounge for an additional opportunity to contribute to the campaign.
