NPC Journalism Institute implements new way to take donations

The National Press Club Journalism Institute has shifted to a new donation platform. We are now using this link with DonorPerfect to make sure your generous support can keep producing free and low-cost virtual professional development programs, driving awareness for press freedom initiatives, and publishing The Latest, our afternoon, industry-focused newsletter.

Club members can now give in the following ways:

  • Make a one-time or recurring gift online using your credit card.
  • Mail a check made out to National Press Club Journalism Institute to: National Press Club Journalism Institute, 529 14th St. NW, 13th Floor, Washington, DC 20045
  • Boost your impact through employer gift matching: Check with your HR department to see if your employer matches donations, or use this tool to find out.
    • Club members at Bloomberg, Reuters, and the Pew Charitable Trusts donated with matching gifts last year
  • Give from a donor-advised fund: Donor-advised funds offer simplicity and flexibility in charitable giving. Once you establish a fund, which is tax-deductible, investment growth within the fund is tax-free. Talk to your financial planner today to direct funds to the Journalism Institute, or use this tool to direct your gift now
  • Give stock or other securities: You may choose to gift highly appreciated securities, which can bypass or defer capital gains. Talk to your financial and legal advisors to get started.
  • Honor a colleague or loved one: Gifts made in honor or memorial are one way to preserve a loved one’s legacy. Schedule a call with us to discuss how we can help you achieve your vision.

The Journalism Institute team is grateful for your ongoing support of its important work powering journalism in the public interest.
