NPC Journalism Institute celebrates 13th birthday
Today is a special day for the National Press Club Journalism Institute: It’s our 13th birthday!
Since 2011, we have been fighting every day to power journalism in the public interest, but the last few years have been full of change and growth for the Institute. We’re happy to reintroduce ourselves with this video featuring remarks from longtime Club members Sam Feist, Ed Kelley, and former Club President Gil Klein.
A birthday gift of $10, $15, or even $25 will go directly to the Institute’s efforts to connect our community to the resources, training, and networks that help journalists better serve both Club members and our democracy. You can make a birthday gift in the following ways:
Make a one-time or recurring gift online using your credit card.
Mail a check made out to National Press Club Journalism Institute to: National Press Club Journalism Institute, 529 14th St. NW, 13th Floor, Washington, DC 20045.
Boost your impact through employer gift matching: Check with your HR department to see if your employer matches donations, or use this tool to find out.
Thank you for your support of the Institute!
All the best,
The National Press Club Journalism Institute Team
P.S.: While we’re excited about the National Press Club Journalism Institute’s future, it’s important to recognize our past: Prior to 2011, the Institute was known as the Friends of the National Journalism Library, Inc.
