Not a Runner? You can still volunteer at the Beat the Deadline 5K

Come support our runners by volunteering at the 18th Annual National Press Club 5K on Sept. 5.

It takes a team effort to pull off this exciting event, which supports the National Press Club Journalism Institute and its ongoing commitment to the future of journalism. We could not do it without our team of volunteers.

Volunteers are needed over a three-day period before, during and after the race to help register runners/walkers and workout participants, direct runners on the race course, keep everyone hydrated, and greet runners/walkers at the end of their journey.

All volunteers get a commemorative race t-shirt, race bag from C-SPAN and free entrance to the post-race breakfast.
