Newt unveils Medicaid proposal at 2005 luncheon

August 19, 2005: Newt Gingrich, former Speaker of the House, addresses a Club luncheon about reforming Medicaid. He proposes a new model for the program “that maximizes Americans’ ability to live as long as possible, as healthily as possible, with the highest possible quality of life at the lowest possible cost.”
