New research librarian joins Library staff

Stop by the Eric Friedheim Library the next time you’re in the Club to say hello to Elizabeth Allin, NPC’s new research librarian. After spending several years with the Newseum and National Public Radio, she is well versed in the world of Washington journalism and is highly skilled in database technology and emerging social media. She earned a master’s degree in Library Science from Catholic University and a master’s in Russian Language and Linguistics from the University of Maryland. Her undergraduate degree in Russian Language and International Studies is from Macalester College in St. Paul, Minn. Allin brings a professional level of support to the mission of the NPC Institute and to Club members in need of expert assistance with their tight-deadline stories or long-term projects.
