New privacy work booths now available on 14th Floor
The National Press Club has upgraded the 14th-floor member workspace with the installation of new privacy work booths, which are now available for use.
These booths provide a quiet space for focused work, phone calls, or video meetings—one of the most requested workspace improvements from members.
The booths are designed with comfort, privacy, and sustainability in mind, featuring:
Acoustic Panels – Sound-absorbing materials to ensure privacy and reduce background noise.
LED Lighting – Motion-activated, energy-efficient lighting for well-lit video calls.
Height-Adjustable Desk – Adaptable for sitting, standing, or using a stool.
Active Ventilation – Built-in fans refresh the air multiple times per minute for comfort.
Booth Usage Guidelines
To ensure a great experience for all members, please follow these simple guidelines:
Time Limit – Limit use to one hour when others are waiting. These booths are intended for short-term work, not all-day office use.
Cleanliness – Leave the booth as you found it. Dispose of any trash, wipe down surfaces, and remove personal belongings when finished.
Noise Levels – While the booths help reduce noise, please keep conversations and calls at a respectful volume.
Reservations – At this time, booths are first-come, first-served. If demand increases, we will explore a reservation system.
Be Considerate – If someone is waiting, please be courteous and wrap up your work within a reasonable timeframe.
No Food or Drinks – To keep the booths clean and in great condition, eating and drinking are not allowed inside.
We’re excited to offer this new amenity and appreciate your help in making it a shared space that works for everyone. Try them out on your next visit!
