New computers installed in Eric Friedheim National Journalism Library

The Eric Friedheim National Journalism Library now features three new computers for use by members.

NPC members are encouraged to visit the library during Club hours to use the computers for the following resources, free of charge:

  • The Bloomberg Terminal, which covers news in more than 100 countries with real-time information on markets, economies, politics, and more. Using the Terminal, members can find breaking news worldwide along with proprietary research.
  • Leadership Connect, a database of up-to-date contact information for individuals and organizations from both the public and private sectors.
  • LexisNexis, a subscription-based database of legal, business, government, high-tech, and news articles. With LexisNexis, users can find millions of articles that are not available through a basic Internet search because they are behind a paywall.

Instructions for logging into these resources are posted by the computers. Remote access is not available.

The library is an unstaffed resource for members. There is not a librarian on duty. Questions about these resources can be directed to National Press Club Journalism Institute staff at [email protected], with responses typically within 24 hours on weekdays.
