National country music artists to perform at Club, Feb. 21

National country music hit makers Love and Theft, Trailer Choir and The Cadillac Three will perform their first-ever "District Country" concert on Feb. 21 at the National Press Club to benefit the NPC Journalism Institute's scholarship fund.

General admission tickets are $55. Club members may purchase tickets at a discount, but must be logged in to the Club website to get a discount on the price. VIP Tickets, which include two drink tickets, exclusive meet & greets with the artists backstage, and an acoustic pre-show performance, are $100.

With a capacity of less than 800 in the National Press Club Ballroom, tickets are expected to sell out quickly.

Doors open at 6pm. You must be 21 years of age or older and present photo ID at the door to attend. All ticket sales are final.

"The National Press Club has hosted live performances from the likes of Billy Joel, James Taylor, Dolly Parton and Louis Armstrong over the past one-hundred years," said National Press Club Executive Director William McCarren. "We are excited to welcome these three modern country acts to our unique and intimate venue. It will be a great night for country music fans and for The National Press Club."

Love and Theft has several hits to date, including the #1 "Angel Eyes", along with "Runaway", and "Night That You'll Never Forget". Their newest release, "Whiskey on My Breath," is the first single off their third album due out February 10th.

The Cadillac Three, coming off of two highly successful tours opening for superstars Eric Church and most recently Jake Owen, made waves with their first hit single "The South," and again with their latest "Party Like You."

Trailer Choir has charted four songs in U.S. Country Top 50 including "Shakin' that Tailgate" and "Rockin' the Beer Gut," which proved motivation for band member "Big Vinny" Hickerson to finish as a runner-up in NBC's hit weight loss reality show, "The Biggest Loser."

With a unique combination of smooth country vocals and an explosive live performance, Nashville Recording Artist Tom Dixon has given birth to a new way of delivering that sweet country sound, with a heart-pumping, foot-stomping beat that has been bringing audiences to their feet for years.
