Member feedback wanted as NPCJI board creates next strategic plan
The National Press Club Journalism Institute’s Board of Directors will meet early this fall to discuss and develop the Institute’s 2026-2029 strategic plan. The plan will guide the Institute’s work and professional development opportunities during an important time of change in the journalism and media industry.
Club members' feedback as working journalists and communicators is vital to this process. As part of our research, the Institute invites Club members to share your thoughts on journalism training and professional opportunities in this brief, open-response survey.
Results from this survey are for internal use and will not be published or shared publicly. Emily Wilkins, the NPC’s immediate past president and an NPCJI board member, is chairing the Institute’s strategic planning committee.
Members who respond by Wednesday, July 23, will be entered in a drawing for one ticket to this year’s Fourth Estate Award Gala (valued at $200).
The National Press Club Journalism Institute is the nonprofit affiliate of the National Press Club. The Institute promotes an engaged global citizenry through an independent and free press, and equips journalists with skills and standards to inform the public in ways that inspire a more representative democracy.
If you have questions about this survey or how the information will be used, please contact NPCJI Executive Director Beth Francesco at [email protected].
