Meet VOA journalists fighting for newsroom, Nov. 12
Come meet and hear from Voice of America reporters fighting to preserve the independence of their newsroom on Wednesday, Nov. 12, at 6 p.m.
National Press Club members and their guests will get the latest from VOA journalists Jessica Jerreat and Patsy Widakuswara on the VOA's challenges, where the case currently stands, the importance of the agency and how to get involved.
The event is part of the Cocktails and Conversation series, hosted by the Press Freedom Team with the Press Freedom Center at the National Press Club. The Press Freedom Center has held numerous events this year supporting VOA journalists and the agency's mission.
Light refreshments and cocktails will be served.
