McGraw Fellowship for Business Journalism application deadline, Oct. 6
Club members are invited to apply for the fall 2024 McGraw Fellowship for Business Journalism at the City University of New York's Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism. Applications are due Oct. 6.
The McGraw Fellowship provides up to $15,000 and editorial support for experienced journalists to produce deeply reported investigative or enterprise stories on critical economic, financial and business topics. Previous McGraw fellows have explored a wide variety of issues -- and you don't need to be a business reporter to apply. Many fellows have been generalists, or cover areas such as health care, inequality or the environment.
Journalists from diverse backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply. The fellowship is open to both freelance and staff journalists with at least five years’ professional experience. There also is a fellowship awarded in the spring.
For further information, go to www.mcgrawcenter.org, contact the program at [email protected], or join the Zoom McGraw Fellowship office hours Thursdays from 12-1 p.m. through Oct. 3.
