March 19 NPCJI Professional Development Advisory meeting moved to Zoom

NPC members, do you have ideas for training or professional development but aren’t sure where to pitch them? Or maybe you’d like to volunteer as a guest speaker or panelist to flex your subject matter expertise? 

Join the National Press Club Journalism Institute’s professional development advisory meeting, where we’ll brainstorm training to help journalist and communicator members build their skills. The meeting will be from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. ET Wednesday, March 19, via Zoom. 

This year, the Club has transitioned training and professional development for members to the Institute, its nonprofit affiliate that produces dozens of virtual and in-person learning opportunities annually. The Institute also produces a daily industry newsletter, The Latest, which includes journalism headlines of the day, writing and reporting advice, career tips and other resources. (Subscribe here.)
