Help judge the nation’s best journalism

Please let us know if you’re interested in helping judge the nation’s best work in the National Press Club journalism contest.

We are confirming the panels for each category now and will need to fill any vacancies quickly.

If you are interested in being in the group of possible judges, send an email to Will Lester at [email protected], including your phone number and the email address for the account where you want to get the entries for online judging.

We have a new category – the Nell Minow Award for Cultural Criticism - so let us know if you’re interested in judging that competition.

We will compile a list of those interested in helping in case we get more offers than vacancies. But we usually are able to use many of the volunteers.

The judging period is from July 1 to July 25. The awards will be presented at an event planned for late this summer. Need to wrap up the panels and submit them early next week, so send me a note as soon as you can.
