Greater Good Science Center at UC Berkeley to award grants for reporting on love

The Greater Good Science Center at University of California at Berkeley is now accepting proposals from journalists and other nonfiction media producers for grants to report and produce stories on love. To apply for funding, applicants must submit their proposal by March 24.

The GGSC will award grants of $5,000 to $50,000 to 24 journalists and media producers to produce nonfiction stories that approach the topic of love from a variety of angles and across a range of media, including articles, videos, radio stories, podcasts, social media content, and more, with funding from the John Templeton Foundation. The initiative is especially interested in supporting podcasts and social media creators. The grants are part of the GGSC's “Spreading Love Through the Media” project.
