Getting the most out of the library resources: LexisNexis
Members of the National Press Club have access to the LexisNexis database while working in the Eric Friedheim National Journalism Library.
LexisNexis is a subscription-based database of legal, business, government, high-tech, and news articles. With LexisNexis, users can find millions of articles that are not available through a basic internet search because they are behind a paywall.
Club members can use this resource — free of charge — at the library computers during Club hours. Remote access is not available.
Instructions for logging in, as well as tips for getting your search started, are posted by the computers.
In addition to LexisNexis, members can use other library resources, including the Bloomberg Terminal and Leadership Connect.
There is not a librarian on duty, but questions about these resources can be directed to NPC Journalism Institute staff at [email protected], with responses typically within 24 hours on weekdays.
No food or drink should be taken into the library.
Members are asked to clean up after themselves as they are leaving.
