Former Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson will discuss his new book “Dealing with China: An Insider Unmasks the New Economic Superpower” in a conversation with Andrea Mitchell, veteran NBC News chief foreign affairs correspondent, at National Press Club Book Rap on Friday, April 17 at 12 p.m. in the Holeman Lounge.
Registration is required. Click here to register. Tickets are $5 for National Press Club members, $10 for the public. A light lunch will be served.
In “Dealing with China,” Paulson draws on his unprecedented access to China’s political and business elite to detail the creation, evolution and future of China's state-controlled capitalism. The book addresses China's meteoric rise as an economic superpower, how business really gets conducted there and how Western businesses and political leaders can best work with, compete with and benefit from China.
