Former Bush White House spokeswoman Dana Perino to speak at April 24 Book Rap

Dana Perino, former press secretary for President George W. Bush and current co-host of the Fox News program, "The Five," will discuss and sign copies of her new book “And the Good News Is…:Lessons and Advice from the Bright Side” at a Friday, April 24, book rap scheduled for 6:30 p.m. in the Ballroom.

“And the Good News Is...” traces Perino’s journey through politics, the White House, and television. From her years as a White House press secretary to her daily debates with colleagues on Fox News, Perino reveals what she says are the lessons that have guided her through her life.

Perino was the first Republican woman to serve as White House press secretary and served for more than seven years in the Bush administration.
