Do you know of a journalist in town who was recently laid off and could benefit from the resources available at the National Press Club as they look for their next job opportunity? Be sure to let them know about an offer, with sign-up open a few more days — must be claimed by March 6.

The Club is extending support to recently laid off journalists through a complimentary three-month guest membership, providing access to community, professional resources and the Clubhouse during a period of transition.

“Our Club has always stood with journalists — especially during moments of change and uncertainty,” NPC President Mark Schoeff Jr. said.  “We hope this initiative provides a welcoming space where displaced journalists can access resources, build connections, and find strength in a community that understands the value of their work.”

Individuals who have signed up for a free three-month guest membership pass are invited to attend the traditional Club Taco Night Friday, March 6, 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Individuals must be enrolled in the program to attend as guests of the Club for the evening.
