Dec. 6 webinar gives journalists a roadmap to covering the next presidential transition
The National Press Club Journalism Institute and the Partnership for Public Service will conduct a virtual briefing that will help journalists understand the post-election milestones and planning requirements that incoming presidents must follow to ensure a smooth, effective transfer of power — and what happens when the incoming administration does not follow the process.
Registration is open for this free webinar scheduled from 11 a.m. to noon Friday, Dec. 6.
You’ll hear from Max Stier, founding president and CEO, Partnership for Public Service. Stier has worked previously in all three branches of the federal government, most recently in he Department of Housing and Urban Development; and Valerie Smith Boyd, director of the Partnership for Public Service’s Center for Presidential Transition.
