Crab Fest to highlight Reliable Source's August schedule, Aug. 15

Hard as it may be to believe, the summer is fleeting, and August is approaching. But the Reliable Source restaurant is ready for it with another busy month of events.

The Club’s popular watering hole has announced its August schedule, headlined by one of its most well-received events, its annual Crab Fest. The succulent crustaceans, along with a buffet of sides, will be served Thursday, Aug. 15. at 5:30 p.m.  The full menu will be announced soon.

In other August events, the restaurant will host its monthly Pub Quiz Night on Thursday, Aug. 8, at 6:30 p.m. in the Truman Lounge, and the weekly Taco Night each Friday at 5:30 p.m.

The August slate follows a busy July that was climaxed by the restaurant's annual Summer BBQ Buffet last Thursday, July 18. The sold-out event attracted 71 members and their guests who,  in addition to the  menu of favorite summertime barbecue dishes, enjoyed the accompanying cool jazz of the Greater U Street Jazz Collective band.
