Consider running for National Press Club Board of Governors
The National Press Club Board's newly created Nominations Committee is seeking dedicated journalist members with a record of Club involvement who want to help guide our strategic direction and ensure good governance.
Ideal candidates will have a record of service at the Club and understand the current challenges facing journalists. Prior board experience is a plus, but not required.
The role requires a commitment of about 5 to 7 hours a month, including once a month Board meetings (often on Monday evenings) and active participation in major events for the Club, Journalism Institute, and the Press Freedom Center.
